Carrie Wegreen ~ Manual Therapist
Growing up in the Yukon and northern AB, outdoor adventures have always been a way of life for my family. After starting a career in the labour industry, I went to work in the mountains of NWT one summer. While working there, I had a near fatal accident in which I sustained multiple fractures and a brain injury. As a result, many loves of mine such as hiking, and family activities became very difficult and painful to do, and I was no longer able to work. Daily life became challenging and as I revolved through many forms of therapy with no real success; I became discouraged that my previously adventurous life was over. It was in that dark place that I took a chance on a friend’s recommendation and began receiving Osteopathic treatments. These treatments restored my body and renewed my hope.
Impacted by my own healing journey and a strong desire to see transformation in people’s lives, I have entered into what seems to be a lifelong study of health and healing and I have truly found my passion! I look forward to walking with others in their journey to find healing and hope. I am very excited to be in Kelowna and to join the team at Balance Point!
