Travis Irmen RMT graduated the 3000- hour Massage Therapy program from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2013 and has since practiced in both Winfield and Kelowna.
Travis prefers to guide the body back to optimal alignment and balance by using Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy and a wide range of musculoskeletal techniques. He combines these modalities into a truly customized recipe in order to meet every patients' unique needs. He believes that "treatment doesn't have to hurt to work" and uses his hands to feel exactly what the tissue needs before moving into lighter or deeper modalities. Since graduating from OVCMT, he has expanded his knowledge in Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy; a two- year training of cross- disciplinary studies in embryology, neurology, attachment psychology, and Trauma Processing, as well as traditional anatomy and holistic somatics. His patients appreciate his gentle, contagiously positive attitude and ease of knowledge in the health field, his ability to listen to their needs and provide safe, effective treatment and home care. |
